ORDERING

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

Paypal Users: Click the "Add to Cart" & "View Cart" buttons to create your order. When you are ready to check out, the shipping total will automatically be added to your order. Simply follow the prompts to complete your payment through paypal. I accept all kinds of Paypal payments. Please do not add items to your cart that are on hold. Note that overseas orders will have to be worked out directly with me because of the shipping changes. I DO ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS.

Non-Paypal Payments (Payment By Mail): First, fill the shopping cart as if you were to order via paypal. Copy the items in your shopping cart by highlighting the text, then pressing 'Control' & 'C' at the same time. Press the 'checkout' button to view the shipping costs (US residents only). Then, armed with that information, Visit my Ordering Page and paste the items into the ordering box (press 'Control' & 'V' at the same time). Proceed to fill out the rest of the information. I will hold the items for 7 days awaiting your payment.

I WANT TO MAKE PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL, BUT I DON'T HAVE AN ACCOUNT, HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR ONE?

Visit www.paypal.com and click on the free account sign-up. You will be prompted to enter some personal information in, as well as a credit card and a bank account. Don't forget to enter in my e-mail address (buck50toys@poseableplace.com) when asked who refferd you to Paypal.

DO YOU OFFER LARGE ORDER DISCOUNTS?

No. The items featured on Buck 50 Toys are consitered rock bottom in price, so large order discounts are not offered at this time.

AN ITEM I AM INTERESTED IN IS MARKED '*7DAY HOLD*' WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Items marked '7 Day Hold' can not be ordered. They are items currently on hold for others for one reason or another. Hold items do come back off hold about 50% of the time, so check back for that item after the allotted 7 days.

HOW DO I PUT AN ITEM ON HOLD?

If you plan to make a payment by mail I can hold your items for seven days (USA), or ten days (International). Please fill your shopping cart up and paste the items you want to place on hold into the non-paypal order form.

I PLACED AN ITEM ON HOLD, AND IT IS NOT MARKED '*7DAY HOLD*', WHAT'S WRONG?

If you just requested a hold, I have to place items on hold manually so I may not have had a chance to update the site with the new hold information yet. If you placed an item on hold and it has passed the 7 day hold date, you will have to resubmit a hold. Some items do not reflect a hold because there is a quantity of more than one, and I have simply put one on hold by changing the quantity available.

I PLACED AN ITEM IN MY SHOPPING CART, AND WENT BACK TO THE SITE LATER AND THE ITEM IN MY SHOPPING CART IS NO LONGER ON THE SITE, CAN I STILL ORDER IT?

No. If an item is no longer on the site, it can not be ordered. You must empty it from your cart or you will have to recieve a credit after you've paid.

I RECIEVED MY ORDER AND INSIDE THERE WAS A SLIP THAT SAYS ONE OR MORE OF THE ITEMS IN MY ORDER WAS NOT AVAILABLE, AND I AM ELIGABLE FOR A CREDIT. HOW DO I REDEEM MY CREDIT?

You can do this one of two ways. First, you can request a refund via paypal. Second, fill out this form AFTER, NOT BEFORE you make another order. The item(s) you state on the form will be included with your next order.

DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN TRADES?

Yes, please visit my want list. I trade value to value on all toys.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

You may return items within 30 days of the postmark date. You must be responsible for the costs of shipping them back to me. You will then be refunded via Paypal the full amount of the purchase minus the origional shipping costs. You may also recieve a credit for items if you would rather not recieve a Paypal refund. Please visit our return form.

SHIPPING

HOW CAN I RECIEVE A SHIPPING QUOTE?

MEATHOD 1: Visit the Shipping Quote Page (USA Residents Only)

MEATHOD 2: Add items to your cart as if you were to make a paypal payment. When you have your cart as full as you want press the "Checkout" button on the Cart Page. This will display your shipping total along with the item total. Then you can choose to check out then, or change your order. This meathod is for USA residents only.

MEATHOD 3: (International Orders) Visit my International Shipping Quote Form. Please paste the items you want from the shopping cart into the window so that I may know the items ordered. Keep in mind these items WILL NOT be on hold automatically until you specify that I should put them on hold.

CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER ?

If you live in the Salt Lake City Utah Area, you may pick up any order at no shipping cost. I will e-mail you my personal address. You must provide a telephone number to coordinate schedules.

I PAID FOR MY ORDER, WHEN WILL YOU SHIP IT TO ME?

ALL items paid via paypal will recieve free delivery confirmation and e-mail shipping notification. I only ship out orders on the Monday after I recieve payment (paypal or mail payments). If you paid on a Monday after 12p.m. Mountain Standard Time, the order will be shipped out the following Monday. If you do not recieve your order within a reasonable amount of time please contact me, and we will figure out the problem.

I RECIEVED MY PACKAGE AND I WAS OVERCHARGED IN SHIPPING, CAN I RECIEVE A REFUND?

Yes. Only items paid for via paypal are eligble for a refund. The shipping estimation in my paypal cart is imperfect. It is based on a narrow value estimation that does not account for weight, so sometimes it may over and undercharge shipping. If you were overcharged more than $1, I will refund the overage. Example, if you paid $4.75 and you recieve your package and the shipping only cost $1.75, you may request a $3 refund. If you paid $3.00 and the shipping only cost $2.50, you can not request a refund since the overage is under $1.

When reqesting a refund you must provide the post-mark date, the amount you paid for shipping, the actual postage amount, and your zip code. I will check this information against my records and refund you via paypal within a few buisness days.

PRODUCTS

HOW OFTEN DO YOU UPDATE THE SITE WITH NEW TOYS?

You can find two-hundred or more new items placed on Buck 50 Toys every other week (bi-monthly). The main page always carries the date of my last update. I update consistently on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. The good items go very fast! All new items have a blinking 'New' Icon next to them. HOW DO I KNOW WHAT CONDITION AN ITEM IS IN?

I try very hard to place toys that are in good to mint condition on my site. Since all of the items are used they may have small imperfections. On many items I list any major flaws within the title. If an item is brand new, I state that in the title as well. Some items will have a very low price, denoting it is not in the same condition as similar items within it's catagory (example, one Clifford book is $1, the other .50 cents, you can guess the latter has more wear than the former). HOW CAN I TELL THE SIZE, OR MATERIAL OF AN ITEM?

Almost all items range from 4 inches to a half inch. If an item is larger I will state it by putting 'LARGE' in the title. The material of most of the items is stated in the title of the item. ‘PVC’ is a term meaning ‘poly-vinyl-chloride’ a common type of plastic mix, which usually means it’s made of solid plastic. If it is a plush, it would say so in the title 100% of the time. The term ‘poseable’ means its plastic with movable limbs. If you have questions on any particular items then please e-mail me.

WHERE DO THE ITEMS ON YOUR SITE COME FROM?

My items come from close-out stores, antique malls, thrift stores, garage sales, ebay, trades, consignment sales, etc, etc. Most items are second-hand, but many are new, as stated in the title.
